Extended Day

The Extended Day (or Aftercare) Program at Zion Prep is designed to be an extension of the learning that takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Aftercare in the K-3 program runs from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day.

Students in the K-3 program that remain at school after 3:00 work each day from 3:00 to 4:00 on their homework or studies (Homework Club). In addition, students that need additional help are served through our Title I Program. Those students receive between 8 to 10 extra hours of one-on-one or small group support during the Aftercare program.

In addition to the homework club and Title I classes, Zion’s aftercare program also includes:

- Boy Scouts
- Arts in Motion classes
- Title I tutoring
- Explorations in Math classes
- Chess Club
